Sean Patrick Morris
I am a Canadian artist and book illustrator from, and living in, in Kingston, Ontario.
I work in a variety of media, including acrylics, inks, and most recently, egg tempera. My work is not photorealistic, but is representational and often symbolic.
Central themes within my work include the culture and impact of technology, contemporary mythologies and man’s interaction with nature through technology.
My work has recently been selected for several local shows, including the Kingston Arts Council's Juried Art Salon (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) and the Modern Fuel Gallery's Juried Art Show (2003, 2009, 2010).
I have studied visual art at York University and Queen’s and I am a graduate of the QECVI Creative Arts Program.
I am also an accredited CISSP, currently employed as a civil servant in the field of computing and information technology.
